Obviously Us | Employee Benefits That Take Care of Your People
The Real Cost of Doing Nothing

Most business owners don't know there's a smarter way to run benefits.

They're offering the same tired benefits and wondering why their best people keep leaving for "better benefits" somewhere else.

The gap isn't what you're spending. It's what you're not doing with it.

"If you have employees and you're an owner who gives a damn — we should talk."
24/7
access to a real doctor by phone or video, day or night, for the whole family.
1,100+
commonly prescribed medications at $0 copay. Skipping meds because of cost isn't a healthcare problem. It's a design problem.
$0
copay for virtual care, prescriptions and mental health support. It already exists. Most employers just don't offer it.
Preventive Care Management

Reimagine wellness with a program that actually works.

A Health Screening Indemnity Plan that delivers real access — not just coverage on paper — through four pillars your employees will actually use.

Virtual Medical Care

When your employee doesn't feel well at 10pm on a Sunday, they shouldn't have to wait until Monday and pay $75 to find out it's nothing serious. 24/7 virtual care means your people get answers the moment they need them — at $0 copay.

Pharmacy Coverage

A lot of employees skip prescriptions because of the cost. That's not a healthcare problem — it's a design problem. Over 1,100 commonly prescribed medications are available at $0 copay, so your people stay on track instead of rationing pills and hoping for the best.

Mental Health Coverage

The biggest barrier to mental health care isn't stigma — it's access. When someone on your team needs to talk to someone, they can. No waiting weeks for an appointment, no navigating a network, no surprise bill.

Virtual Veterinary Care

A lot of your people have pets. A sick dog at 2am is a distracted employee at 8am. 24/7 virtual vet care is the benefit your team will actually talk about — and remember when it's time to renew.

Why This Is Different

We change the sequence. Not just the benefit.

Banking got faster. Travel got transparent. Retail went on-demand. Healthcare stayed stuck. Until now.

See How It Works for You
The Old Way
Insurance First, Care Second

Enroll once a year. Get a card. Pay the co-pay. Get a bill. Try to decode it. Repeat. That's a transaction system — not a healthcare system.

The Obviously Us Approach
Guidance Before the Claim

Access and guidance come first — before the claim, before the confusion, before the cost escalates. When employees know where to go, everything downstream gets better.

The Result
Fewer ER Visits. More Productive People.

Better medication adherence. Less HR firefighting. More engaged teams. This isn't a benefit upgrade — it's a completely different approach to how your people experience healthcare.

The Business Case
Better Retention

People stay when they feel their benefits every week, not just once a year. That's the business case.

Real people. Real results.

What this looks like in real life.

6-location restaurant group

For years, he wanted to give his people real benefits. The numbers never worked.

With the wellness plan, his team finally got a doctor they can call any time and $0 copay prescriptions. And the business came out ahead. He put that toward bonuses for his people.

Verona, WI

An employee thought he had a sinus infection. His doctor couldn't see him for a month. He called the virtual doctor, talked to someone right away, and had a prescription at the Walmart down the road in 5 minutes. $0 copay.

Libertyville, IL

A mom's son got hit in the head at an away baseball game. She didn't know where to go. One call, and they sent her to the closest in-network urgent care instead of the ER. Smaller bill. Less panic.

Client names kept private. Results depend on your business and your people.

Obviously Us FAQ
Common Questions

Everything you need to know before we talk.

These are the questions we get most often. If yours isn't here, the 19-minute call is the right place to ask it.

A SIMRP (Self-Insured Medical Reimbursement Plan) is a supplemental program that works alongside your health plan. Employees contribute pre-tax through a Section 125 cafeteria plan and get reimbursed for medical and wellness services. It isn't health insurance, and it doesn't replace yours.
A Health Screening Indemnity Plan is a preventive care program with indemnity-style benefits and virtual care. Your people get a real doctor any time, prescriptions and mental health support at $0 copay. It works alongside your existing insurance. It doesn't replace it.
A TPA — Third-Party Administrator — runs the back end of the program. They handle the benefit payments, maintain the records, and keep the plan's paperwork in order. Think of them as the engine under the hood. You don't interact with them much, but they're the reason the program runs the right way.
It depends on which component you're asking about. The Health Screening Indemnity Plan does not require you to offer major medical insurance. The SIMRP does. We'll walk you through exactly what applies to your situation in our first conversation — there's no guesswork on your end.
The contribution amount is based on the fair market value of the services included — virtual care, pharmacy access, mental health support, and preventive care. Independent actuaries set that value using established federal guidelines and a conservative method. It isn't a number someone made up. It's documented.
When it's set up and run correctly, the program works within IRC Sections 105 and 125. That's why plan design, paperwork and oversight matter so much, and why it's run by a licensed third-party administrator. Talk to your own tax advisor about your situation.
